Hey family! Jamie here with our midweek update. We are switching things up a bit and looking at ways to engage with you more throughout the week. So from here on out expect a video update from us at least bi-weekly, giving you more of an inside look of what is going on here at Enter Shaolin. 🙂
Here is our first midweek update where Sifu Larry and I share a bit about what is currently on our to get done list for Enter Shaolin. Like always, there’s lots of info and lots of laughter. Check it out…
Let us know your thoughts below in the comments, I am looking forward to next week’s update which was inspired by an email I received from one of our members…
Blessings and Happy Training,
Jamie Pelaez
& The Enter Shaolin Family
P.S. Speaking of comments, when you are done here, please comment on this post from last week, we haven’t heard from you yet… 🙂

Hi Guys,
Thanks for making this video. I have to totally agree with you that the content available is more than worth the money you are charging and we really do appreciate all the energy and sacrifices you are putting into it.
The last idea presented of recording the same content explained through different eyes is great. It was one of the main reasons for me joining to have complementary explanation of what I’m being taught elsewhere. It’s also great to be able to go back and review previously watched content, many times to find new aspects of the same training.
Please keep up the great work, all the best,
Majo

Thank you Majo for all the love! I am sooooo looking forward to getting these Sifu Larry takes on Sifu Phu’s lessons out to you. I cannot tell you how many times I have filmed Sifu Phu and had an ah ha on what Sifu Larry explained to me or vice versa.
You will always be able to watch the lessons as many time as needed, as we know you cannot perfect your craft enough, you will always be continually refining and perfecting as you go. 🙂
Blessings!

I think the quality of Audio Video is already great… and its the content and depth of explanation which is what I at least and drawn by… I would see improving what is already pretty good would increase costs quite a bit… and I’d rather you succeed and costs arn’t then pushed onto higher costs etc.
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Thank you brother! No worries on the cost part, all of this is done in house. I shoot the videos and Larry edits them. We are primarily concerned with a few we have had complaints on about the sound quality. Those we definitely want to correct… But other than that, we will definitely continue to put out new content and thank you brother Neil for the kudos!

Hello
Agree with Michael – please do not re shoot the older videos as it shows the progress of the site from the beginning to the present – just another example of the journey reaching the final destination.
I saw Enter Shaolin on U tube, was impressed enough to sign up for the five free lesson, was impressed enough to become a member, and then impressed enough to become a Abbott. The quality of the video’s and the site, and the way it is run is a credit to both of you (as well as Sifu Phu).
I do think it is an excellent idea for the three different versions of teaching.
Keep up the good work – and looking forward to learning a lot more to continue my own personal journey
Cheers
Steve

I love it brother! Thank you for the great reminder that we don’t have to be perfect to be helpful and of service. We talked it over and we will only redo the ones that are absolutely necessary like the ones with bad audio… LOL!
I’m so looking forward to these new videos and so happy Sifu Larry is finally ready to start doing them. I’m sooooo excited!
Thank you again brother Steve! 🙂

I have watched about 25 lessons over the past three months. Many of those lessons I watched multiple times in order to observe the fine nuances.
The only production issue that has effected me is that the sound on some videos could be better. When this occurs, I simply listen to that particular lesson using headphones rather than the speaker on my smart phone.
When I signed up, I was skeptical as to the effectiveness of video training. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I have learned and improved using your online training program.
Over the past six years, I have purchased over 35 training videos and subscribed to one other online training program. Your training program has been by far the best and most effective.
What makes your program head and shoulders better than the others are your solo training drills. Those are a stroke of genius. They really help me to learn the skill and pick up what I may have missed in the lesson.
So rather than redoing existing lessons which, if not perfect, are more than adequate, I prefer that you add new material and additional solo training drills.
I don’t need or want slick videos. What I do selfishly want is your knowledge.
Thank you and keep up the great work.

Thank you for the awesome feedback George! We will continue to put out new training, that won’t stop! And more solo training, because we know many of you are also needing more creative ways to train solo.
One of the things we will be going back and doing like we said is giving Sifu Larry’s perspective on the lesson and with that we will also do solo training ideas when it makes sense as well. My personal goal is to make it where there really is no excuse for a person not to train.
The ones where the sound is off are our biggest priority to redo, because as we know it’s pretty important for the sound to be decent for the person to learn. We’ve has a few complaints on some videos and we would like to get those corrected for sure. Glad you have found a work around though!
No worries, we aren’t looking to make slick videos, we are looking to make videos that quench your thirst for knowledge! 🙂
Thank you again brother George!

This extra mid week video is a great idea, it makes Enter Shoalin more personal and keeps us in the loop as to what is happening behind the scences so please keep them coming. ????
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Thank you Joe! I’m glad we are on the right track. 🙂

I to have loved the videos and am so glad I found this site! I was wondering about the pricing increase. You said that current members won’t have a higher price, but what if I want to upgrade in the future? Would I be paying the upgrade cost that a new member does? If so I totally understand.
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Hi Melani, yes you would pay whatever the current price is at the time.

Keep up the great work. Working M-F is a good idea, and is keeping it real. No need to burnout, recharging your batteries is a must.
