Enter Shaolin Update | 5 Common Herbs to Combat Stress & Depression + Tips

February 2, 2018 By Sije Jamie Pelaez 11 Comments

What's New @ Enter Shaolin?Hey family, how are you?

This week’s update is inspired by a request from one of our Enter Shaolin family member’s Robert ‘Bob’ Taylor and also thanks to a question asked by Donato! Bob wanted to know what of God’s farmacy I recommend to help combat depression Donato was also seeking advice to destress and overcome depression.

In a world where everything is go, go, go and there are so many things fighting to take our attention, numb us out and create stress inside our mind and body, it is no wonder so many people battle with stress and depression. Sometimes, playing games, like the ones on 유로88, can help cope up.

Sify Larry and I have brought this topic up many times as well as we have had our own battles with both and we get lots of inquiries about these two things. Which means it is definitely an epidemic. What I know is when you are stressed and/or depressed, you won’t function optimally and few make wise choices when they are feeling this way. Good thing there are sites such as cbdarmour.co.uk/raw-original-cbd-oil-3000mg.html that provide stress-relieving products that are also budget-friendly.

We talk a lot about working on yourself mind, body and spirit because it is imperative that these things be balanced and on high for you to be able to live life on purpose and to live out the purpose you were created to do. In short, you can’t be your best, when you are not taking care of yourself the best.

When I come up with herbal concoctions and healing remedies, I like to use ingredients that are usually much more affordable than their counterparts, more accessible aka easier to find and can even often be easily grown yourself and sometimes foraged as well.

Obviously, that last part would definitely depend on where you live, though most of these are pretty common worldwide.. 🙂

I also have to preface, I am not a doctor our any type of certified health professional. I am however an empath that just feels things out by their energies and has been blessed with a gift when it comes to healing hands and working with Mother Nature. I also check my feelings out by researching and personally testing out my concoctions. Meaning I test and prove all things.

I urge you to do the same and do your due diligence and if you have a physician you trust, also talk to them about your plans. Take care of your temple and it will reward you greatly. 🙂

Over the Summer, Sifu Larry and I did a podcast that talks about the different ways we have overcome stress and depression naturally. We hope our tips and experiences will help you and your loved ones too!

Watch Natural Ways To Overcome Depression:

Also, in a recent previous blog post, I mentioned 3 Ways To Boost Your Immune System, which you guessed it… Having a strong immune system, reduces stress and much more and therefore fights depression!

I know I’ve touted the benefits of Qigong and Tai Chi many times for overall health & wellness, reducing stress, kicking depression’s proverbial butt and helping to elevate your mood and energy. So of course, I am going to recommend that you read more about the benefits of doing Qigong, Tai Chi and C.O.R.E. training daily to combat depression!

Speaking of Tai Chi… We started a mini series on one of our Youtube channels about Sifu Phu Ngo’s 10 Tai Chi Energy Principles.

Tai Chi Energy Principle #1:  High As Heaven Low As Earth

In this post, I was going to cover 5 common herbs to combat stress and depression in detail. However, there is a lot to cover with each one. The benefits, precautions and their uses…

As the weeks progress I will be sharing more about the various ways I use these herbs, essential oils and more to keep my daughter and myself moving forward in our healing even while navigating some rough terrain! 🙂

I will also work on creating more posts like this highlighting the many benefits and uses for each of the plants mentioned here. We are just scratching the surface and I look forward to sharing more with each of you on the herbs and so much more.

Without further ado…

As I hinted to earlier, I will post how each of these herbs and many more help with stress and depression. Sifu Larry and I realized for me to do these herbs and you justice, it’s time I start my own segment here on Enter Shaolin. In my new weekly post I will include detailed information on how each individual herb helps combat stress and depression as well as include uses, recipes, product & tool recommendations and any additional resources that can help you along the way.

All the herbs I will share with you have many benefits besides helping with stress and depression. As time goes on this herbal library will grow and I will expound upon each ones many benefits to help you take control of your healing and wellbeing, if you so choose to of course!

I will also cover essential oils for each of these and their uses too. There’s a lot more we want to share with you here at Enter Shaolin to help you conquer depression and stress. These two things seem to plague people the most and we want to do everything we can to help mitigate the stress in your life so you can be your best regardless of what detours and curveballs life throws at you. 😉

If there is anything we can do to help you personally or if you just need someone to talk to, we are here for you! You can reach us here.
