Sincere thanks to you for video No.1. As a student of Tai Chi for two years now, it is has been truly mind opening to learn how to be fully relaxed in motion, and how to release energy through the body and increase awareness. I’ve come to a point where I have to go on with the learning and see where the pathway leads.
I look forward to lessons 2-4.
Warm greetings and best wishes from Cape Town, South Africa.

I am Ralph Colson, I still haven’t gotten my first lesson, as I am awaiting the next boot camp for Kung-fu Wing-chun, however I feel what you are teaching me, is it possible to perform without ever having learned a style in movements? I am very excited, but also very new, and I don’t know how to kick or punch since I have never really fought. Looking forward to your reply.
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Hi Ralph, it is possible. You just need to train thats the biggest thing.

hi im 14 nearly 15 and going into year eleven.
i dont have many friends and get bullied quite a lot, because of this i have always been shy and constantly seeking other peoples approval to feel good about myself and i can loose my cool quite easily.
i was wondering if this course could really teach me to have more self confidence and keep calm whilst simmultaniously teaching me how to defend myself from bullies or attackeers in general
would apreciate any support/feedback given.
Sifu Phu Ngo says
Hi Aidan. I am sorry to hear about your problems. I can help you with that. I have helped several students that went through the same thing. It’s all about on how you hold yourself mentally and physically and the training will give you the right and proper projection of energy both to help you in combat and how people see you. Write back to us and we will help you best we can.

I have been training for years off and on. Lessons came too expensive on top of other bills. Recovering from major surgery gave me a lot of time to search on my smartphone and learn. And I appreciate the education you brang to me. Helps me strive for health verse mopping on inside of myself. Hope your lessons continue. Thanks.
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Hi Latausca , hope you have a speedy recovery…
Jeremy says
Mr. Ngo I have a question how can you practice the chi sao aspect of wing chun if you have no partner?
Sifu Phu Ngo says
Hi Jeremy, unfortunately you can’t. The only thing you can do is practice your techniques and conditioning. You need a partner to practice chi Sao.
