Sifu Larry Rivera: Hey family, I am feeling excited today because I know that when things start getting frustrating it means you are getting closer to a breakthrough.
In our case we have started a huge project, we know that there is light at the end of the tunnel!
We believe in being totally transparent with you in keeping with that here is where we are today.
Jamie is working furiously on getting the new members area set up. In order for us to launch the new Ngo Dac Na 101 course which is ready to go, we need to connect the roku app to our site.
In order for us to do that and have everything make sense to the new members, there are many pages and the flow of the site has to be redone to make it make sense for everyone. It’s really coming together and we are excited for you to see it.
In theory none of it sounds like it’s that much. However, every time we go to make a change or add a new piece of software a new and fascinating problem occurs.
What this tells me is we are getting closer to moving to the next level in Enter Shaolin. I’ve seen the new members area Jamie is working on, it looks amazing.
It happens in our training too, right before we hit a break through we will be met with all kinds of challenges. It’s that make or break kind of situation. If we keep going what we will find on the other side of the obstacles is priceless.
So like you should keep going and persevering, Jamie has been putting in late nights and only made stops for a really cool opportunity she had to piece parts of her family back together again. Now she is back and working every hour possible for the Pittsburgh seminar. Are you going to be there? We have a few spots left, you can register here.
Jamie Pelaez: Hey family, while I am missing back home (Tampa, FL) already… I am still grateful to be back and to be able to share some of what happened on my trip. I am also excited to get these loose ends for phase 1 of the site redesign complete.
So I just got back from a no exaggeration stealth operation. It was family related and in short I was given a great opportunity to unite my dad with family he thought didn’t want him or didn’t even know he existed.
He’s carried some big chips on his shoulders throughout the years from not being accepted by his own parents and being treated like the black sheep aka the outcast or unwanted one.
Needless to say this effected him to the core of his being and it did to my brother and I as well as we tried to cope with a parent that was still a broken hearted little boy on the inside.
We even carried a last name that wasn’t ours though my dad wasn’t adopted, as his parents really tried to keep him a secret.
So we spent our lives not sure of our heritage, except me being the intuitive empath that I am of course! I always knew who I was and who my dad’s father really was. Even as a little girl I just knew and I always wanted to help my dad heal from these wounds his parents inflicted on him.
Random strangers throughout my life would confirm my suspicions even more. Like God dripping reassurance of drops of rain on me every time I felt discouraged.
The great news is after 35 years of this life, I finally got the opportunity to not only set the record straight on my dad’s heritage and lineage, but I also got to unite him with his half brother that looks almost identical to him! This further removed any doubts about who he is and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to what has been a sore point for my father all of his life.
The crazy part is I never knew how or if I could do this for my dad, especially since he was so resistant thinking everyone on the Pelaez side wants nothing to do with him and therefor he wanted nothing to do with them.
But what I found on my secret mission that seriously was ordained and orchestrated by Our Creator & His angels… Not only crushed my dad’s doubts, it also opened his heart and mind to the possibilities of having a brother that could understand his life with his dad, but also had many of the same interests as him. Talk about a beautiful moment!
My dad actually let me help him too, all of these things were HUGE and great blessings. This past weekend was absolutely priceless to say the least.
And the past few months have been absolutely mystical as this all unfolded into my lap. What I want to let you know is that if for some reason you are stuck in some area of your life or training, that it’s going to somehow work out. Just release the frustration and any other negative feelings that come with it. Be positive, be open to what may come. Keep persevering despite the no’s you may get or the naysayers that may try to distract you.
These past few weeks and even months are proof that when you release your expectation of the outcome or timeline and just flow with the energy presented to you, you will not only be right where you need to be when you need to…. You will also know how to move, speak and just be in those moments as they unfold perfectly and better than anything you could have imagined.
Not only will this create miracles in your life, but it will also help & inspire others too when you walk in these present moments of now. And dare I say, it will also make you a better martial artist too. 😉
Here’s to going with the flow and living in the now family!
I want to thank you for believing in Enter Shaolin, it has made my dreams come true in so many ways. I get to help others around the world to learn from Sifu Phu & Sifu Larry and I get to finally train myself too! There is no doubt in my mind one of the reasons that what happened this weekend came to light is in great part to all of the training I have been doing for the past 2.5 years.
When you train in Kung Fu it renews and refines your mind, body and spirit, which opens up the gateways to more abundance in all areas from relationships to work and everything in between. This is because the more balanced you are, the more you can see the signs pointing to which way to go and not go for the greater good of all.
It’s a narrow path that few follow, but for those that seek it… Watch out, as you just might find yourself taking the time to smell the roses, to bask in the light of the sunrise and to giggle like a little kid in amazement of all of the beauty that surrounds you.
Happy training family, I can’t wait to reveal this next part of Enter Shaolin with you! I am looking forward to all the extra time to put these pieces of the puzzle together, because I know these hours are an investment in the greater good for us all.
Now on to your training…

Thank you Jamie for the many reminders about life and love. Your family journey was not easy but like many life challenges, it’s the tough ones that offers the most. Your story is very touching and I have no doubt that your training prepared and guided you. I’m always very happy to hear stories about struggles and finding liberation and I’m very happy you guided your Father into a more loving and accepting place. Following the development and style of Enter Shaolin, it is obvious Sifu Larry and you contributed much to its life and success. As important a task this is, you both must maintain balance in the work. It’s not uncommon and easy to get burned-out. As in the practice, time is on your side.
Thanks, Terry Hall

You are most welcome Terry, thank you so much for taking the time to read and for sharing your thoughts too!
It’s true often the most difficult situations reap the greatest blessings! Yes, indeed we have Enter Shaolin is our passion and love. It took awhile to get both Sifus on board, but it was also like my family situation, so worth the wait!
And yes balance is definitely key with work and play, no worries brother we take Sabbath off to rest and sometimes an extra day when needed as well. Getting to travel to see family even when brief has also been a great balancer too. I also make sure to eat healthy, get enough zzz’s and Qigong is also great in mitigating stress along with prayer and meditation.
Thank you so much for your concern brother, I promise we will continue to take care of ourselves and stay in balance as the more balanced we are internally the better we can give to Enter Shaolin and others. Time is on our side, yes it is! Much love to you & yours Terry!
