Hey family, how are you doing this week? Are you making it a great one? I hope so!
This week I decided to put together a video update inspired by this week’s events and achieving your goals. Though successful people who buy their motivational wall paintings on https://printsuccess.co and had success with it are one of the most common things to think about when it comes to motivation, there are other ways too that you can add to that.
Many people set them and never achieve them or sometimes they do but it takes way longer than it has for others. Not to say that every experience has to be the same, but what I am saying is if you find that your goals are always taking much longer than others, it could be you are not setting them and/or working them properly.
Sifu Larry and I are so guilty of this and have been talking and hashing out why we have this stumbling block. We got a lot of revelations and answers and have been putting things in place to self-correct and move forward faster. I share about this and much more in this week’s video update. Enjoy!

Notes for 3 Steps to Achieve Your Goals:
- Find your why. It will keep you motivated to keep moving forward even when obstacles come. (Know why you need and want to do said goal.)
- Create an action plan, find the time, set the timeframe and execute said plan.
- Find like minded people to keep you encouraged and that will remind you of your ‘why’.
Psst… You already know from watching the video update, that you got that last part right here at Enter Shaolin! 😉

So what are you waiting for? Let me know in the comment’s section what your why is and if you already got your gameplan ready for the next 30 days, share it here too. 🙂
This week Sifu Larry and I did some training and decided to film it and share some clips with you.

Hi Jamie.. ☺️ Thanks for the video. My journey is many things but the jist is enjoyment! I currently workout 3 days a week with weights and practice my
Scott Hall martial arts 7 days a week. My goals are to continue practicing Enter Shaolin.. ☺️ and working out. I work on me everyday and my relationship with God. Look forward to more interaction with you all. Take care.. ☺️
Respectfully
That’s what I am talking about right there. Mind, body & spirit! Together they elevate each other and keep us in check. 🙂 Congrats on choosing to work on you everyday. Blessings!
Thanks for That video, Yes it is very important to plan. I’m in The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and one of our prophets taught : if you fail to plan you plan to fail. Thanks again, I’ll not be able to go to our martial arts school usually more than once a week, ’cause I have a new calling at church, so I’ll have to train more at home, to keep improving, but that is what I train for too, not only to be able to defend myself and others, but to be able to live life right, which definately includes serving others. So thanks for your Service.
Hey brother! Absolutely, this theme is all throughout the Scriptures! I am happy you are being called to work more with your church and that you are finding a way to continue to train in a way that works for your goals and purpose. It will serve you well as you clearly already know. You are awesome! God bless you, Christopher!
I question the value of making a video (irrespective of the message) whilst driving. It is all very well to put your own life at risk, with your actions, it is entirely another matter putting other road users and pedestrians at risk by this action.
Hey Frank, I get that you don’t know me which is very evident from your response. I have never had an accident while driving filming or not, I am a very safe and dedicated driver and take driving very seriously. I have been driving fully and solo since the age of 16 and am now 36.5 years young. I am not holding my phone, texting on it or doing anything more than what someone would do using a GPS or using their phone as a GPS attached to their windshield… Nor am I doing anything more than if my daughter or someone else is in the car and I am talking to them or singing to the radio or having a deep conversation with God… Even when you think I am looking at the phone recording me, I am really looking beyond it at the road. So while I appreciate your concern, I do assure you I nor anyone else is at risk while I am driving whether filming or not. Peace.
I am very much appreciated for this video in that you really put time and effort to show that you really do care as family and offered to help for the Enter Shaolin members who maybe are staggering with difficulties on setting goals and not just about KungFu trainings but in general with everything in life. Sometimes we worked hard everyday. By day’s end, we tend to stress out mentally and physically and would lose our ways to get back on tracks of what our goals are and for what we really wanted to accomplish. Your advices and suggestions do make a lot of sense. Thank you!
Hey brother, you are most welcome! Everything you said is why we do what we do and keep moving forward and finding ways to improve what we do inside and outside of Enter Shaolin. In by doing so we keep improving and help others to do the same. It’s a win-win for all.
Thoi, what’s the biggest challenge you are facing right now for your biggest goal?
My 2 main challenges and goals are to stay healthy and focus with my day to day tasks so I can become productive and successful on my job and to master the Wing Chun so that I can protect myself, love ones and other people when needed for encountering real critical confrontations or situations with the bad guys.
Thanks!
Thoi
Hey Thoi, those are some great goals. Are you doing Qigong and Tai Chi? They will really help you on what you are looking to achieve. If you time is crunched, start with Qigong first as it will reap the most benefits for what you need right now and is easiest to learn and implement right away.
Here’s to healing! Blessings!
Thank you for the video. It is nice to know that others are in the same spot with reaching their goals. I love music too, and the more Kung Fu I do, the more confidence I have to want to play in front of people. That is part of my why. The other component of my why is being strong for family.
You are most welcome Melissa! It’s so cool that you are having that same effect. When we take care of ourselves mind, body, spirit, it elevates everything including self-esteem and self-confidence. What does being strong for your family look like to you, sister?
