Hi Family, the last time I challenged you I didn’t know I had cancer. Interestingly that blog post was on April 5th 2019 on that day I weighed 205, down from 226.
It took me 3 weeks to drop that weight. Then shortly after that I found out I had cancer and switched my diet to a full raw vegan diet. As of today I am 186.
I am pretty sure I will at least drop another 10 to 15 lbs with the way that I am eating. I am still exercising regularly. In fact your new challenge this month I just got done doing for the day myself.
Raw Vegan Diet Perfect For healing practically everything
One day I plan on integrating meat back into my diet. However that probably won’t be for a couple of years because it took years for cancer to get me.
It’s gonna take years for me to heal from it. I do believe though once I am fully healed I will adopt a 95% raw diet and 5% cooked diet. While I am going through this healing process I am not pushing myself as hard as I could physically because I want my immune system to focus on healing more than I want to focus on repairing my muscles. So my personal exercise program has changed to support my healing journey.
Here are just some of the things I have noticed on this eating plan:
- Junk Food Cravings Gone
- Allergies Gone
- Arthritis Barely Noticeable
- Eating As Much As A Want And The Weight Is Melting Off
- Taste Buds Changed
- More Mental Clarity
I am not suggesting that the Raw Vegan Diet is the only way a person should eat. I am however suggesting that this type of diet is great when you are trying to heal your body.
