Hey family, we have been busy busy this week. On top of that, I’ve been battling strep throat. I am finally beating back the enemy and managed to get this week’s updates done.
We do have some goodies for you this week. First, we got a surprise when Sifu Phu and Enter Shaolin got invited to do an interview with RadioVision Network.
Watch our Off The Mat interview with Lauri Andreacchio here:
We also managed to get a preview up of this past weekend’s seminar. If you weren’t there, you seriously missed out… But no worries, as a member you will get to see all the teaching. We wish we could have had more of the informal training we did after hours. Jamie did mention we should film, but I said nah.
I really wasn’t thinking, I realized I was fighting off being sick, so my judgment was off a bit. But no worries, that won’t happen again. We realize that was some serious value we did not trump on and we will make sure not to do that again.
Preview Sifu Phu’s seminar at the E.U.S.A.I.M.A.A. conference:
We loved getting to see those we have met before like Abbot’s Marlyn and Amit and new faces like Abbot’s Raf and Gil.
We also had some fans show up like Russ who just joined as an Abbot today, welcome to the family brother! We also had Malikha, Gregg and their awesome kids come to check us out. It’s the first family we have had come and therefor the first kids. It was great getting to meet them all and get to teach and train with them too.
A big shout out to Ken, Anthony, Brenda, David, and of course our Jamie who not only put it all together but also helped film, teach and train too. We couldn’t have done it without you all. Thank you!
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the photos from the seminar:

Thanks for sharing the video. It’s unusual to see you in such a condensed format explanation compared to the Enter Shaolin in-depth videos Sifu Phu. The instruction looked excellent, I hope I can attend one year.
I really enjoyed the part at the end where Sifu Larry is helping someone through the moves as well, it must be an amazing feeling for student and teacher being able to improve understanding like that.
You’re both great teachers, thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Thanks Rob! 🙂

Hey Enter Shaolin Founders,
Sifu Phu, I think the time has come…
Having been inspired by the Radiovision interview (off the mat). I was touched to hear Sifu Phu’s wonderful story about how his Grandfather taught him as the (chosen one) from all his other siblings his unique system of martial arts (Ngo dac na). It gave me an idea that we should use a photograph of Sifu Phu’s grandfather and also a photo of Sifu Phu himself, but definitely the photo/image of grandfather/grandmaster hung on the wall of Enter Shaolin Kwoon/s. What do you think??
I think it would be awesome to have a picture of The great grandfather even super – imposed on the home page of Enter Shaolin and also certainly a DEDICATED page for the great master himself on the website.
The reason why I mention this is because I think it would become an awesome brand identity aspect of the NGO dac na system/lineage, but also a wonderful name face to bow to and pay our respects to whenever we as students start our training sessions etc.
Much Love!

Hey Bob. That is a good idea. I would have to look for a picture. Thanks for honoring my grandfather with that thought.

Dear Sifu Phu,
Glad you like the idea, because let’s face it…WITHOUT YOUR GRANDFATHER and your GOOD SELF…the legacy of NGO DAC NA system of Kungfu could and would not be passed on…. FULL STOP!!!
So, it would be my honour to pay full respect and homage to this FACT and allow us as your student/s to NEVER FORGET YOUR ROOTS and in turn we as dedicated students of the NGO DAC NA become AMBASSADORS for your Family’s lineage of sharing this Kungfu System throughout the world, slowly but surely.
With Respect and Gratitude…Thank YOU and your GRANDFATHER!
Also not forgetting Sifu Larry & Jamie of whom without, Enter Shaolin would not of come to fruition from a practical online platform (reaching out to the masses) point of view. So THANK YOU to both of you too.
