Hi from Canada!
I, for one, sincerely do recognize and appreciate all the great (and sustained!) effort that the ES Team (only three people!!!) put into our training each and every week.
I’d absolutely *love* to attend one of your NDN Tai Chi Seminars! And I will. But right now I live in the middle of Canada. Kind of far to go!
Am planning on moving back to the East coast of Canada. And when I do… I’m there! (Hold a place for me!)
I absolutely *know* that we don’t get a “gift” like NDN in any training anywhere else.
Thanks for everything you guys do. It is tremendous.
Best,
Doug

Thanks Douglas, I look forward to seeing you 🙂

Hey brother, just so you know we always are by an International airport for a reason for our events. 😉 At our last even the family that came the furthest came from Hawaii!
Thank you for the kudos and love brother, we look forward to meeting you in the future. 🙂

The seminars are totally worth the price because the knowledge is priceless. If you want to enhance your skill touching hands with the enter shaolin team will give the results you need to grow
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Thanks Alban! I look forward to hanging out with you again 🙂

I really appreciate the program. My GF & I love it. I confess that after 3 minutes of this video you lost me. It’s probably just me, but all the how busy you are was not interesting and that comment that what you really want is our bank acct number is something better left in silent thought than expressed publicly.
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Hey CS, I am happy you and your GF are enjoying the training. I am sorry you missed Sifu Larry’s humor though. :/ If you would have listened just a tiny bit more you would have realized he was just joking. Trust me if he wasn’t, I wouldn’t be working with him nor would I have spent years waiting for both Sifus to be ready to allow me to help get this training out to the world.
We share what’s going on behind the scenes as 1. we are about transparency and 2. we are about creating a family community. So that means being willing to share our very human experiences, it helps most people not to feel alone and to be able to relate. If you check out some of our testimonials or even the comments left on this post, you will see what I mean. Blessings!

Hi Jamie,
Always look forward to the weekly updates and the Webinar Q&A. Enjoy your blogs (and Larry’s blogs too). They make the updates so much better when you share your thoughts and what’s been going on. Really appreciate all the effort that you put into your posts!
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Thank you Ron, we are glad you are listening and benefiting from what we share as well. Blessings brother!

I love the weekly updates. At times I cringe thinking, “oh no don’t say that!” but, each video is refreshingly sincere and very candid (very candid camera).
Seeing you guys talk directly to the camera, offering snapshots into your lives, and the high video quality, help me take a short vacation from my life into yours…like today we went to return books to the library on a nice day in small-town New Jersey…
Kung fu-wise, I have just started my journey around February of this year…but i joined Enter Shaolin and have watched maybe 30-50 videos…
The lessons and messages are consistent, and the quality of the instruction seems world class.
I also looked online for other sites to compare or confirm what i learn here, and the sites i found were not as good at breaking down or explaining things. Typically the videos feature a skilled person doing a move but not explaining to a novice like me what subtle thing or things they did.
Sifu Phu really has refined his teachings consistently to demonstrate the necessary concepts AND to do it in a fun, charismatic way. He is a professional.
Sifu Phu, Sifu Larry, and Sije Jamie are three people i welcome into my life each time i click a video. I enjoy their friendships and humor.
I respect their kind hearts and sincere mission.
My interests in Enter Shaolin are:
1. Learn enough martial arts to NOT be a victim if a physical altercation ever where to occur…
2. Increase my self confidence
3. Improve my connection to my body, spirit, and mind.
So far in ~8 weeks, i have begun to feel increase in martial arts knowledge so at least i have some ideas of how to react in physical altercation instead of relying on fright or flight instincts or just being a victim…thanks to Sifu’s Corner, the weekly webinars, the training videos and the seminar videos.
My self confidence is increasing as i learn new ways to move my body. My posture which was awful, is beginning to improve…
My connection to spirit and mind is a work in progress, because i have not yet made more than 3? attempts to do Qigong or Tai Chi. (i will, just taking it slow.)
Sije Jamie and Sifu Larry’s vision for Enter Shaolin combined with Sifu Phu’s commitment and contributions make this site a true gem.
We are lucky it has not yet gone viral and as members we get intimate, personalized attention. But i do hope this site does go viral in helping as many people as possible.
I support Enter Shaolin and encourage more people to do the same. The proof or justification is in the videos…a wealth of martial arts knowledge, encouragement, and life lessons have been created.
Seeing them has renewed my spirit (I am 45).
Have you heard of the Kaizen 1minute principle? I just recently learned…basically try anything for 1 minute every day…key is focus less on immediate results (hence the 1 minute of effort), but focus on the continuous commitment (every day) to gradual improvement over time (lifetime).
Happy training! 🙂
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Hey brother, glad you are enjoying the updates and glad we keep you on your toes too!
It’s great to hear your experiences and how your training is going, thank you for sharing that as well. 🙂 I am happy to hear you are already feeling more confident!
Your observations about other training sites, is spot on from what we have personally researched and seen.
Even when we go viral, we will still be able to give intimate help and personalized attention. This is because we will be able to afford to outsource more of the things that don’t require such personalization which would free us up to do more in the way of that.
So no worries, we will just keep increasing that intimate experience overtime!
We look forward to working with you to help you on all 3 of your points. If you need anything, we are just a short message or call away.
I haven’t heard of the Kaizen method, but will look into it as it sounds much like another principle I learned from the book The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson: https://amzn.to/2JS0FzG (aff link)
It’s about doing small things consistently over time that compound into big change/results.
Blessings!
