So we have a ton of things happening right now. We are in the process of upgrading our hosting service.
What we didn’t realize is that we needed to purchase a new SSL certificate for our new hosting service. Because of that things have gotten held up a few extra days.

Interesting update. Good to note you folks have applied for a new SSL certificate. Remember to have all the links updated to request the https version of the web site – particularly the login functionality as well as pages relating to making changes to account information. Also remember to get your web site professionally penetration tested to ensure you keep the bad guys out (those that may want to steal your intellectual property or worse use you to target others !!). A lot of your students may be in the security fraternity so may be able to help. All the best !!
Hey Anand! Yes, we already know to do those things from our first SSL which is what is currently in place. Unfortunately, because we got the SSL through our soon-to-be old host, they will not reissue it to another hosting company. Which, we did not know until we already started the migration process to the new host. Hence, the delay!
Because of this, we are currently waiting for all the checks to be completed with our new SSL company, so we can finish the transfer. This is to keep our security (https) the same with our login, member account pages and purchase pages now and in the future. 🙂
Our new hosting company also takes extra measures to keep the bad guys out. Which is definitely what we want to do. Thank you for the advice Anand!
