Hi all! I hope you have had a great week!! Mine has had its ups and downs, however I was able to get back to training. 🙂
I continued learning about throwing a punch from the NDN way instead of throwing from the shoulder. I got it I think just not sure if I got it totally. Then my wife was
watching me train a bit and she asked about what I was trying to accomplish? She is my greatest supporter! She encourages me to go get what I want out of life! If it wasn’t for her, I fear I would have slipped into a major depression that I probably wouldn’t have recovered from the accident that hurt my back.
So through much discussion with my wife, I am now officially an Abbot member!!! It was the best thing I could have done for myself!
I log in everyday and try and learn something new each and every day. Today is Friday and I am hurting like the dickens. My belly is so darn sore from working my abs, my arms feel like jelly
today from trying to learn how to punch properly. But, I can not slow down! I need to push through and get moving!
Since joining as an Abbot, I must admit I am a bit lost as there is a lot more training to access. Unsure as to where to start. Should I continue on the Ngo Dac Na 101 course or should I go elsewhere? That is something I need some help on I am afraid. Where to start????
Well I decided to follow the NDN 101 Course until I speak with Sifu Larry and Sije Jamie on Monday. I scheduled my 30 minute orientation and am so so so eager to meet them. I need to pick their brains!! Now to think of questions that I need to ask…
So until next time, train hard, smart and as often as you can!
Bob
P.S. The orientation was great and helped me gain clarity on utilizing the NDN 101 Course as my main training and adding on to it when I have time in the Training Hall. Makes sense! If you are already a member and haven’t scheduled your orientation, schedule it here, you won’t be disappointed!
P.P.S. Not a member yet? Start here.
