Women’s Self Defense | Simple Self Defense Attacking The Eye Sockets

March 10, 2015 By Sije Jamie Pelaez 16 Comments

One of the reasons we wanted to open up a women’s self defense section inside our Enter Shaolin membership site was to be able to help empower women with simple self defense techniques that work. It’s also because we have seen some seriously bad ideas in the women’s self defense realm. From telling women to just get raped and a slew of other methods that won’t work against someone who is strong let alone skilled…

To say there is a lot of bad advice out there to show women how to defend themselves, is truly an understatement. Being a woman who was in an abusive marriage for 7 years, I want to make sure that women and men have the proper tools to defend themselves. While, my husband tried to beat me and hurt me and I was able to defend myself, I didn’t have these tools and I could have ended his attacks much quicker if I would have.

And I don’t want to just share the physical tools you need, but also address tools for your mind, body and spirit. Because I know when your mind, body and spirit are in alignment and balanced there is a much less probability you will ever end up in a situation that requires you to know these things. However, in the event you are, you will be able to handle the situation even better when you are balanced and whole.

If I would have been balanced and whole when I first met my now ex-husband, I would have not only seen right through him, I would have heeded the warnings my body was giving me. I know first hand the detriment that happens when we are not balanced  and I want to help make sure that never happens to you. We will take more on those things another day. 🙂

Right now, I want to share a short and simple self defense technique with you. And of course, this can be used whether you are a man or women. Actually, I highly encourage the brothers on our site to check out and practice the women’s self defense techniques too, because they are universal and it might just be one of the simple techniques that saves their life one day. I also encourage you all to share these lessons and help the loved ones in your life to practice and know these.

Like in all things, practice is important and you should never use these methods to be the aggressor, rather use them as protection from someone trying to harm you or someone else.

Watch This Simple Women’s Self Defense Technique On Attacking The Eye Sockets:

Definitely comment and let us know your thoughts below. It doesn’t get much more simple than this technique. One thing we will be doing in upcoming blog posts and videos is addressing some of the ‘bad’ techniques we have seen online and sharing methods that will work in those scenarios regardless of the strength of your opponent.

Also, if there is a scenario you would like us to cover in the future, please let us know in the comments, so we can help you with those!

Blessings,

Jamie Pelaez
& The Enter Shaolin Family

    Awesome video!!
There are so many ways to defend ourselves. But o course if we get correct guidance, no one will ever get hurt or will become scapegoat of criminal heads and unexpected attackers.

I believe that your video should be circulated more so that more and more people could get aware of the tactics to save themselves from any kind of mishaps in future.

Seeing the rise in the crime rate on daily bases, self defense training and carrying self defense tools have become a big necessity these days.

Knowing that in today’s world, we can never tell if it’s safe or not. Beware and alert at all times!

Unfortunately that is where we are at now a days. It’s always good to be aware of your environment and use you head to keep you safe best you can and then use your abilities if and when needed

Very good video and great information. I also teach my students to clap over the ears to disorient and imbalance the attacker. With the forward pressure and wrist-turning techniques you teach, you have aided in making the techniques I teach to a whlole new level. Thank you SO much for being willing to share your knowledge with the public.
