Hey family, how are you? We hope you had a great week. Let us know how you are in the comments below.
We are a wee bit behind on some things as we are wrapping up paperwork and other not-so-fun adult/business stuff. Some days this week have got us feeling like…
Can you feel me? LOL
We got a bit behind on our intentions for this week, however that’s okay, as we are still moving forward and making progress!
I am testing out some forums this weekend as the votes came in, it is clear that most wanted to keep slack on as well as have a forum. So we are going to see how that all goes and will have more news about the forum next week.
Some more good news…
We have official dates and times for our member and affiliate webinar series! Progress!
1. The affiliate webinars are not going to be live as we did not get enough interest. However we are going to create webinars on various topics to get our ambassadors training up and they will be able to watch the recordings at their own time and be able to submit questions. Also any affiliate that needs further help, we will work with as well
2. The member q&a webinar will be on Friday at 11am EST starting on March 24th.
If we get a great response we will add in another day/time for the Q&A session too.
All webinars will be recorded, so even if you can’t make it you will be able to stay up-to-date and informed.
Oh and one more change… You might have noticed that the support chat wisget at the bottom right of your screen is missing. That is intentional. We are looking for another solution as that was costing us $185 and growing to use monthly. At this time the cost did indeed outweigh the benefits. Mainly because I was getting a lot of people just saying hello, despite it being clear it was for getting help. Or other much more bizarre requests… While we did get some valid users using it, the majority where sadly not.
But no worries, we are still easy to get a hold of (just use the contact page located at the top of each page in the menu) and if we can find a more affordable option where the benes. justify the cost we definitely reconsider.
Speaking of time sinking upgrades that are sinking some cha-ching too… We may be switching Roku platforms. Right now we are spending almost $800 a month (it was $600) with little R.O.I. we have decided to give it one more month before we make our final decisions, but thus far it’s been a money sink and a time sink. Yeah that hurts a bit, especially when we have spent a good almost 9k between the development phase and the actual launching and maintaining.
That could have been our second camera and a few other things we could have used. But hey, sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some, right? 😉
We definitely have found an interest on Roku, but it looks like we would be better just using it in a similar manor as we do YouTube for promotional purposes only.
In short we are doing some Spring cleaning; evaluating what is clearly working and what in the past year is clearly not. By doing this we will be able to better allocate funds and time to give you more.
Speaking of giving you more…
Check out our latest Enter Shaolin podcast:
In this episode we cover who Enter Shaolin is for and who it is not for. We have found a lot of patterns in those who benefit from an online martial arts training program such as Enter Shaolin and those that should not consider such programs.
Even if you are already a part of the family, check it out. At bare minimum you will be inspired and get some good laughs too. 🙂
One of our members this past week told us during their orientation call that we should go on tour. What do you think of the Larry and Jamie Show? Maybe it will help us fund the rest of our dreams for Enter Shaolin! 😉
If you would like to setup an orientation and get some suggestions on how to best utilize Enter Shaolin for your personal training goals you can schedule yours here.
Next we shared some of the Ngo Dac Na version of a full nelson on YouTube:
And here is the Instagram quick training tip version:
The full lesson can be found below in the new training links and the counter will be released next week. Oh and we also have a member critique available too! Thank you Bruce for allowing us to share your critique again, it truly is a great help to everyone.
Well enough about us, let us know how your week was and what’s on your mind in the comments below!
I know we are ready for our day of rest, what about you?

Jamie and Sifu Larry you definitely need to go on comedy tour! I loved our chat and your infor was so so so inspiring! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
Sifu Larry Rivera & Jamie Pelaez says
We have a great and funny idea to take our comedy to youtube as a Kung Fu training spoof. I can’t say much but when we get the time to start this (I pray later this year we will), it will be lots of laughs for sure! We enjoyed our chat too and look forward to talking again soon. 🙂
You are most welcome brother and thank you for the love and support!

Yes, you spoke enough about money issue, all should get it, form kindergarten to elder level, is more then well explained. Being public is not so simple, such variety of people to deal with, and there are some individuals out there, who maybe jealous or simply sick minded, do not waste your time on them. Some of them may need psychology doctor to help them, not kung-fu teacher. You friends are doing great work, and just focus on Art, and think about those who really try to learn something, about positive things, edifying, inspiring, and leave miserable ones behind, why to spoil your day or pollute your mind, be free from all that negative element and its influence, go forward for a better day ahead….:)
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Right on brother! We thank you for your inspirational words and indeed we will keep concentrating on the characteristics of those who get it. Thank you for the love! 🙂

Great job y’all. Always love these updates and now the podcasts. I would like to say Sifu Larry actually sort of glanced over it, but one point he made is Ginormous. And I want to highlight it even more, because it is really powerful and critical for people to understand.
The point is that the videos in the membership area are far more valuable than most people can hope to realize.
1. They are short, highly specific videos about a particular exercise, drill, form, or specific skill to be developed. And EVERYTHING in each system is carefully documented with the MAN himself explaining and demonstrating it and pointing out all the key aspects to know.
2. Everything is painstakingly organized and structured in an unbelievably thorough way.
3. This gives you a Video Reference Library that is unparalleled in history.
As Sifu Larry said, many of us have learned martial arts for some time and never had access to such resources. I have stacks and stacks of notebooks where I would sit after every class and take copious notes and diagram the lesson learned on that day. I have literally hundreds and hundreds of pages of notes in notebooks and on my computers writing out all the exercises, drills and forms I have learned over years, and trying to remember it all, organize it (because you typically don’t learn things in a sequence in time, i.e., you may a learn a concept or drill one day and never get back to that same drill for months in a normal class scenario or seminar), and finally finding it right when you need it is a monumental task.
So having an organized reference library that is detailed and thorough and in VIDEO format is priceless, and I mean literally priceless.
Learning a form can take you now just weeks, whereas in the past without a video library like this it may take months and years. Some sifus will only teach a student one form per year.
Even in somewhat old school days for recent generations, when you could buy instructional DVDs, these were/are still very expensive, limited in scope and still hard to quickly find specific aspects you want to refer to or retrain on, or whatever. Now they are obsolete.
This new online course format with everything categorized in small chewable videos takes martial arts learning to an entirely new level and can accelerate someone’s ability to learn it, digest it and continue to practice it, PLUS TEACH it (further enhancing their own skills and development) cannot be understated.
This is really going to accelerate the growth, development and evolution of not only Enter Shaolin and the Ngo Dac Na system, but also all of martial arts, and I am so excited about it. You will see peoples’ skills growing by lightyears, I think. So take advantage, anyone who can.
PRICELESS.
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Brother Wayne, let me just say your comment really made our week! It is GINORMOUS and after seeing just how much value we provide, indeed it is PRICELESS.
People can definitely have accelerated learning and growth with such a great library at their fingertips.
Thank you for supporting us and being a part of our family brother!

Hey Jamie & Larry,
This may freak you out…because I think I know who you guys were referring to regarding the $49 something online monthly subscription to learn online. Tell me, is it the guy with the initial (A M) and he teaches taichi online in a weekly video ( drip, drip fashion). So you only get access to one new video per week regards to learning his internal taichi system etc…am I right….????
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Hey Bobby! I don’t recall his initials (we just found this Sifu doing some youtube research), but it sounds very similar at the least. We are going to stick it out a bit longer hoping we get to the type of training we were expecting before too long. Also, I want to reach out to the site and advise they may want to consider at least giving their members 4 lessons a week to keep them engaged and staying on longer. I sadly can’t see the majority sticking around for one short lesson a week. :/
