Hey Family! Larry here it’s June already, I can’t believe how fast time flies. Usually Jamie does these update post, however today she is busy working on some infrastructure stuff, so I thought I’d get this out for you.
We are still working on getting our clothing line out to you. I am not sure when we will be able to get that out to you, but we are working as quickly as possible to get that out for you. The person that did the graphics for our original hoodies and tees has apparently lost the artwork, so now Jamie is scurrying to get replacement graphics made.
We’ve had a few disgruntled people this week upset about us letting them know when we will be raising the prices. One of them thought we are just using it as a marketing tactic and a way to create fear. However, that’s not what we are about. Rather, we are about being transparent and letting you know what is happening, when it is happening and why. I assure you we will raise the price every 100 members till we reach $97 a month.
Since you are already a member, you are locked in at the price you joined at for as long as you stay a member.
When we opened up Enter Shaolin May 1st of 2014, we took the lowest price we could afford to sell while making just enough to cover our expenses, with the idea of slowly raising it to what we would like our base price to be over time, so we can provide for our family and continue to perfect Enter Shaolin as we grow and have more resources.
We also wanted to give early adapters the opportunity to get in at the best prices and keep those prices for as long as they stay a member.
For some people, the $10 increase is a big deal, so being informed when it is going up has helped many many to be able to budget the membership and lock in those prices.
I don’t think most people get how much money it takes to run a site of this caliber and the costs just keep increasing. Even just the cost of hosting these video lessons and hosting the website cost more and more money each month.
That’s a good thing because it means we are continually growing. It also means that we need to keep raising the price of our membership to keep providing you with awesome content. So if you have any friends you would like to share Enter Shaolin with, now is the time to do it, because we will be raising the prices again soon.
I just checked and we have uploaded over 400+ videos to our video hosting server since we opened the doors last year. Because I have personally trained with Sifu Phu for the past 22 years I am excited to tell you that we haven’t even scratched the surface yet with what we will be teaching you these coming weeks, months & even years to come.
About Our New Ngo Dac Na 101 Training Program
We know that logging into the training vault can seem overwhelming for those just getting started. This is why we have put together this training program. You will find the sign up form for the course in your members area on the right hand side. So if you would like to take part in the program be sure to sign up for it, it’s totally free and an included benefit to your membership.
We are also working with Sifu Phu Ngo to come up with a Ngo Dac Na certification program for those of you who expressed interest in teaching our family system. There will be more details on that sometime this year. Sorry I have to be so vague about the time frame.
However Sifu Phu comes to our studio 3 times a week at most to film new lessons and then the rest of the time he is teaching his students and managing his school. I know people don’t believe us, but Jamie and myself really do handle all the day to day operations of Enter Shaolin. What that means is at the moment we are limited by time. The good news is every month we get closer and closer to reaching our goals.
Thank you for being patient with us and we pray in the coming months we can bring on a new team member to help us with day to day operations so we can get more done faster.
I just want you to personally know we strive to constantly bring you the absolute best online training possible with the resources we have to use. This is Jamie and I’s full time gig and we often put in overtime to get as much done as we do. We look forward to the day we can start outsourcing more of the technical work so that we can focus more on serving you.
Now on to your training…
