Enter Shaolin Updates – What’s New This Week 10/31/14

October 31, 2014 By Enter Shaolin 3 Comments

What's New @ Enter Shaolin?Hey Enter Shaolin Family, we will not be holding our regular monthly webinar in November.

We will however be at a seminar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania November 14th to the 16th.

We will make sure to put all the film footage up for you when we get back.

Having issues watching the video lessons?

We have users all around the world and what I’m about to share with you has helped the few members that do have slow internet still be able to watch the video lessons. Hopefully, this will work for you too! Our videos are recorded in HD and automatically playback in HD, however there is  a way to lower the quality, which speeds up playback.

1. You can right-click with your mouse (control + click for Mac) anywhere on the video to bring up a menu and choose the option ‘SD only’.

See if this takes care of the slow playback for you (this would need to be done for each video you watch).

2. If you are still experiencing slow playback, then press play and then pause the video. Give it about a minute, maybe a few, if the video is say 30 minutes long and then press play.

This allows the video playback time to buffer so you can play it back on a slow connection. You may need to pause it longer, however generally the above recommendations are long enough.

Dear Sifu Phu, I know this may be somewhat out of scope but just wanted to check – would you be happy to consider medical Qi Gong for martial artists? As you no doubt would agree, injuries are common for us and it would help to know what could be done to reduce pain and enable the body’s natural healing process. We will also be able to help students and fellow learners if they are hurt during training/sparring or simply if they have forgotten to stretch or have over done it. Welcome your thoughts.

Hey noon, it would be awesome if you could come. It’s in Pittsburg from November 14-16. You can go to eusaimaa.com and find out more. You need to bring a formal wear for the banquet on Saturday. The cost is $100 for the conference that includes the banquet and seminars Friday to Sunday. The hotel would be 130 a night in which if you don’t mind can share with some of my students. I do need your full name so I can give it to the person in charge so he can set you with us for the dinner. Let me know as soon as possible. Sooner the better.
