Before Creating Enter Shaolin with Sije and Sifu I use to just teach my art privately. I actually built my school next to my house.
Those of you who teach martial arts already know how hard it can be to pay all the bills. So Back in the day I started to learn how to do internet marketing to supplement what I was earning from teaching.
Since those days I fully committed myself to sharing what Sifu Phu has been teaching for the past 25 years to the world via the internet.
I know what he is teaching people is pretty special because I have a lifetime background in the martial arts and what he taught me I never understood before training with him.
I think that is the key thing here is actually understanding the how, why and what you are doing in your training. Most schools just teach monkey see monkey do. In other words often times you are left without really understanding what you are doing.
Here at Enter Shaolin we explain, show and demonstrate how all these different martial art principles work in application.
At the end of the day what you learn here at Enter Shaolin is to aid you in your personal journey of self discovery.

So you may wondering what does any of this have to do with this weeks ES updates.. And if you are wondering that, good question 🙂
I am always growing and learning how to do better on the internet. For the longest time we couldn’t figure out why our open rates on our emails are so low compared to how many people we actually have on our list.
Well a buddy was over yesterday who actually experimented with long emails vs short emails and actually found out after tracking his data for 6 months that long emails gets into inboxes more.
I usually try and keep these emails short and just let you get to the update. But I am experimenting with these emails to see if we can get into more inboxes because I really believe what we are sharing can really help
change your martial art journey.
… This Weeks Updates
Next week we won’t be having a weekly webinar. Sije Jamie will be spending time with her family back home. We will be in the office working, doing customer service and filming lessons. It might just take a little longer to get back to you.
I am personally starting to feel better. I am working out again at about 30%. It’s a process but everyday I am feeling better and better.
