Enter Shaolin Update | Getting Back Into The Groove

January 12, 2019 By Sifu Larry Rivera 7 Comments

WHAT'S NEW @ ENTER SHAOLIN?Hey family, how are you?

This week Sije Jamie got back from her famcation and I have been getting over being sick. I made the mistake of going to the gym on the 1st to get back to my normal workout routine and bam just like that I got struck down.

Sije Jamie made a good point and said it’s probably not a good idea to go to the gym for at least the first 3 weeks of Jan. as there are a lot of extra people with New Year Resolutions which means a lot more potential for sick people and germs. Makes sense.

She’s been helping me rehabilitate, taught me some soup making skills, been doing her healing hands messages and also we’ve been on top of our Qigong and Tai Chi game.

I’ve been doing what I call my sick Qigong routine a lot as well. I was thinking of filming it for the training area, would you like to see it?

It’s great for when you are exhausted or physically can’t move a lot.

Besides that we have been making a list of equipment we need to finalize things for better videos and sound. We have also been preparing to bring in our 2 team members so we can really focus on restructuring/remodeling the site.

This week we also started back up our Q&A’s, Sifu Phu joined us from Israel. We tested out using Google Hangouts since we ditched Zoom and so glad we did. The quality and clarity was way better than Zoom and bonus, it was free to use!

There’s a lot more to share and we will do so next week. Until then let us know how you are in the comments below and if you would like to see my sick Qigong routine.

Wow, I didn’t realize so many people would be interested in it.. I’ve been doing it for years…

I first did it on a vacation I was on in Maine 13 years ago.. I had gotten a nasty cold, one of those colds that you know is going to linger for weeks..

I literally spent an entire day doing my regular qigong and this sick qigong routine that at the time I just learned…

My acupuncturist exposed me to it…

To my surprise the next day I felt way better, and 3 days after that I felt almost 100% which never happens..

With this most recent cold/illness, cause really who knows what it was with all the germs going around.

It felt like a ton of bricks , maybe flu like. I did 2 sessions and it really does help clear things up..

I’ll record the routine for you guys and walk you through it…
