Hey family, how are you? Is it just us or did this week go by a wee bit too fast?
Besides feeling like the week just zipped on by we have been having some more of that off and on warm then cold weather. How is the weather where you are?
I want to apologize for those comments we missed a few weeks back ago. I just seen them when checking out a new plugin we were using. Apparently some of the comments were getting auto approved, which is great to show immediate engagement… But not so great when we don’t realize a comment has been made because it was auto approved!
We would love to make the comments more live and interactive. But unless we find a better system, it’s easier and faster for us to have them go to pending so we don’t miss any of your awesome comments.
So for those I missed, I did reply back and thank you for taking the time to comment. We love hearing from you all.
What’s new this week?
We got a couple awesome things for you to check out and we are excited for the new things coming soon too!

3. Monday we will be sending you an email about our new webinar series days and times.
We are excited to make your training more engaging and will be asking for questions to be submitted if you have any ahead of time too. 🙂
4. You will see a lot more of my training and the great wisdom of Sifu Larry too.
We started to do this in the past and then some how got off track. Part of it is because Sifu Larry is a bit camera shy at times and even has doubts about his abilities as a teacher and a martial artist at times. Who doesn’t?
However, the fact is he is equally as brilliant as Sifu Phu in his own way and I am no longer allowing him to wallow in his self-pity. Why? Because Enter Shaolin needs his perspective! Seriously, this stuff is too good not to share with you!
Anyone who has touched hands with both of our Sifus and learned from them both can attest they both are great teachers and if you choose to learn from them both, you are going to be an even greater martial artist period. This is because you will be able to understand the concepts we teach in a fuller picture from their unique perspectives.
Also seeing someone like myself who has been training for only a little over 2.5 years will help you in your journey seeing the struggles to the triumphs. And of course you are going to get some comedic relief at times, that is a given! 🙂
So whenever we train from now on, we are just turning the camera on. It won’t be as smooth or focused as the lessons as we will be filming via tripod instead of having me behind the camera, however that’s okay. The lessons, the laughter, the tears and the gold nuggets will still be there and that’s all that matters.
One day we will be able to hire a FT camera person, until then I or the tripod will be there to fill in depending on the situation. 😉
5. Here are the videos we have shared on social media for some quick simple training tips:
This one is for anyone who likes to wear big earrings like myself. There is a specific type of backing that will protect your ears from earring snatchers. Jokes on them! 😉

Thank you Wilbur for the love and encouragement brother!

Thank you for sharing your story, for me your activity came just in perfect time, I have finished my study in kung-fu school in Phila (11 years), and I did not feel satisfied with what I have learned, something was missing, but all the books, articles, videos I went through in all those years did not fulfill the gap in my knowledge and understanding of the art, many very close explanations but not to the end…And one time browsing internet for basics (siu nim tao form), I came into link with SiFu Phu explaining this form with examples, the way he explained it, attracted my attention, and there were other links I wet through with his teaching, and more and more I looked into it, I came to conclusion, that I need to learn more about his teaching and the way of understanding the system… And after one visit in his school about year ago, I found my new home, I found what I was looking for, I found the spring of living water – real one… Thank you for opening your doors to the strangers like me, and thank you for good job you doing for many, many others…
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Thanks Witalis, we appreciate your kind words and are glad you are enjoying the lessons 🙂

Yo Family, I like the “Wing-Chun Wisdom”, part, on Spiral. Short & to the point explanation, a quick guide or corrections, very Wing-Chun like, ‘efficient’! Thanks, Tempa
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
It is indeed efficient, glad you liked it Tempa! 🙂
