Hey family, how have you been? Our families have been going through a lot the past month. If you have been tuning into the Q&A’s then you know a bit about what’s been going on.
I sent out emails about Sifu Larry’s surgery and was a bit surprised how many people had no idea he had cancer and what was going on. In case that is you, please go check out the following posts to get up to date on what has been going on, different things Sifu Larry is implementing into is health & wellness and more:
1. Enter Shaolin Update | Update on Health (
2. Enter Shaolin Update | Finding Healing (
3. Dominion, Cancer, Healing and Kung Fu (
4. I Challenge You Part 2 | Raw Vegan Diet (
Here’s what’s going on as of this past week with Sifu Larry’s cancer journey as well as what’s going on behind the scenes at Enter Shaolin.

We definitely do our best to keep you all posted, but it seems despite our best efforts we can’t always get everyone in on what’s going on. But that is why it’s super important for members especially to tune into these weekly updates. Pick a day you can spend time reading and watching videos, etc.
It’s one of the great resources to your membership and also helps you to stay abreast of what is new with Enter Shaolin, what’s going on behind the scenes and much more.
We may be a company according to legal paperwork, but we are a family first! That means being transparent and as open as we can be with our lives and beyond.
So we can inspire others from our life lessons and maybe help others prevent some heartaches and trials and tribulations as well as just showing you, that yes we are humane too!
Speaking of being humane, it was great to see the outpouring of love, concern and prayers. Sifu Larry and the rest of us at Enter Shaolin our so grateful for all the prayer warriors that came to our call for prayer! THANK YOU!
Here are pictures from Sifu Larry’s trip to the hospital…
I’ve also besides helping Sifu Larry behind the scenes with resources, research, support, etc., I have been dealing with some heart-wrenching moments as a single mother to a daughter that doesn’t understand her worth despite me doing my best to speak it over her and show her she indeed is worthy. My daughter has been dealing with depression and having thoughts of suicide as well as had started cutting among other worrisome behaviors. 🙁
Between helping my best friend/Sifu to choose life and getting my daughter the additional help and support she needs, I’ve spent many nights on my hands and knees crying out to my Heavenly Father and have been lacking some sleep to say the least.
These life events have had to overshine us getting the Enter Shaolin 2.0 site launched and out us behind on weekly updates. We are just getting back into some sort of swing of things, though there are still many challenges ahead.
Having a small team with so many major life events that required emergency attention can be difficult. We are looking forward to the moment we can afford to bring on a full team so when life happens, production doesn’t have to come to a halt.
Speaking of team, our most recent team member Dante has helped us keep our YouTube channel going which is our primary advertising channel for Enter Shaolin. Thank you Dan!
Now that Sifu Larry has had his surgery to have the tumor removed, the next part of his healing journey can begin.
You can catch this week’s past Q&A were we talk a bit more about that in the first 10-15 minutes of the Q&A as well as some other great health tips and kung fu tips throughout.

We also have a new intro membership for our YouTube fan base and anyone that would like to give us a little extra love for $4.99/mo. This content will be added to Enter Shaolin for Junior members and above in the special area of the Training Hall at the end of next week. 🙂
We have had a few awesome Abbot members sign up to give us extra support (THANK YOU!) and to be able to get access to the YT premium badge for when they comment on live Q&A’s, etc. and also get the exclusive Enter Shaolin emoji’s to add to their comments. Just a fun way to stand out among all the masses. 😉
Here’s all the details…

Wishing the best for you Sije Jamie and Sifu Larry!
Sami, your Rice Trainer looks awesome! What did you use for the padding on the spring arm?
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Thank you Daniel! I will reach out to Sami, to find out!
Daniel J says
Thank you Sije.

I used pipe insulation rubber foam.
You can easily get it from hardware stores 🙂
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
That’s awesome, that’s what I thought you used from the looks of it. 🙂
Daniel J says
Thanks Sije and Sami. I might have to give it a shot. I’m using a pool noodle on mine right now and I don’t think it will last long!

The SPRING-ARM DUMMY is good for taking The Energy using forearm parrying. Some like Batman.
