As a way of saying thank you to all those that follows us on YouTube and other media, we are going to share with you a sample of the type of lessons you get when you join Enter Shaolin.
But first I am going to share some back story with you. When we launched Enter Shaolin (May 1st, 2014), we knew that we would be filming for years to come because Sifu Phu is literally a living encyclopedia of martial arts.
So every week since we have opened the doors (and 6 months prior) we have added 4 to 5 new lessons. As of now we have over 650 training videos and counting!
We have upped the price to join Enter Shaolin 2 times already and we are planning to raise the price again because as we expand our reach and add more to Enter Shaolin, our cost to run it increases. So we started with the lowest amount we could afford and every 100 active memberships we increase the price to be able to keep Enter Shaolin going for years to come.
Instead of charging people large sums of money for 1 mini course we basically give you the keys to the entire training vault as soon as you join whether a monthly Junior, yearly Senior or a lifetime Abbot.
In the future we will offer some of our courses individually online and via DVD, however at the end of the day you would pay more to own everything in pieces than becoming a member and as an online member you would get more training plus the ability to ask questions and get help. Also having access to our online community is another perk. In short it pays to be a member vs. buying by the course of DVDs.
Many of our members have told us we aren’t charging enough for this life changing information, especially the Abbot lifetime membership with it’s bonuses. Indeed this is life changing.
So much so Jamie spent years trying to get Sifu Phu and I to let her help us get this info out to the masses. She believed in it so much, that just by hearing about it, she eventually got tired of waiting and moved her and her daughter to NJ just to train. And six months after she got here, we were ready to build Enter Shaolin.
Enter Shaolin is a labor of love, if you knew how little we actually make vs. how many hours we put in, you would realize that Jamie and I do this because we passionately love what we do and Sifu Phu and his family’s legacy can now live on!
People join martial arts for different reasons, some people just wanna get in shape, while others want to be able to effectively defend themselves in a life threatening situation, and others want to become better mind, body & spirit. Then there are others that are looking for all the above.
In all cases we can help you on those goals and more. When you join Enter Shaolin you have a great family with an awesome support system ready to help you, not just in Kung Fu but also in life as well. Because after all Kung Fu is everything!

I’m new to it all and loving every minute of it! I’m 5’4″ and 145lbs and always had people push me around so all these moves will be to my advantage and by the way, I’m also 52 yr old! Old dog learning new stuff, but I’m glad after all these years I have someone to help me, thank you!

Thank you so much for explaining point of contact. I am in a i liq chen class and have difficulty in understanding point of contact concepts. Mentally I understand it but to put it into practice is still difficult. I would like to see more of your point of contact demos so that I can have more clarity. The above video was especially helpful. Thanks, Ruth
Larry Rivera says
You’re welcome Ruth. We have more lessons on the contact point inside our training vault. You can also learn more by joining our Enter Shaolin lite program.

Thank you Sifu! Having seen this lesson, is this the purpose of the
wooden Wing Chun dummie that Kung Fu practitioners use in their solo training? I’m not training with anyone currently and will need to find someone I can train with.
Sifu Larry Rivera says
Yes Tom, the wooden dummy helps you train without a partner.
Master Kongling says
Can I ask you how much do you train on average?
