Hey family, how are you? We hope you guys and gals are doing great.
You maybe wondering why brain fog is in the title. Well that’s because Sije Jamie and myself have decided to give IF (Intermittent Fasting) a go for a 90-day challenge we have created for ourselves. We are on day 3 and while the brain fog isn’t nearly as bad as the last two days, it’s still there a bit.
We will share more about our journey as it progresses. So if we missed your email in the past several days or comments, it hasn’t been intentional, we aren’t operating at full speed and will get everything caught up within the next several days.
If you are intermittent fasting or have in the past, we’d love to hear your experiences in the comments below.
We are doing the 16/8 currently which is 16 hours fasting with an eight hour window of eating. Jamie has fasted a full 30 days before and has often fasted 1x a week, but fasting is new to me, though how we are doing the IF is a bit different for Jamie too.
This week we got back to podcasting. I will have the footage edited and ready for you early next week. It was good to get back at it. We covered depression, some of our experiences with it and our system for overcoming it.
Earlier we had our 3rd member Q&A webinar. It was great, thank you for all that sent in questions and made it. 🙂

I appreciate that you are talking about depression and I would be interested in that podcast. I’m currently struggling with depression & anxiety and I am hoping that practicing martial arts, yoga and meditation will help.

Hey Virginia, those are definitely two things that will help. You can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/iaQplhXVvxg or listen to it here: https://soundcloud.com/entershaolin/episode-4-ways-to-overcome-depression
Also, if you ever want to talk, we are here for you. I just emailed you my number. 🙂

You are welcome brother and thank you! I am going to be posting the podcast to the site later today. 🙂

Both you and Sifu Larry exhibited self-confidence and trust in us during the depression blog discussion. Life challenges are encountered by all, and having a community of friends with whom we can share our fears and doubts enables us to cope and gives us strength. As my Tai Chi Sifu continually reminds us, “Our goal is to become Human.”
Sije Jamie Pelaez says
Thank you brother and indeed we are spiritual beings navigating a human experience that requires plenty of grace and forgiveness. <3
